Still here!

Hey guys, we’re still here! We’re just seriously running into scheduling conflicts left and right!
The movie reviews will continue, and the podcast isn’t dead. At the very least you will start seeing written reviews by either Mikey or Dave cropping up in the near future.
So take heart all you loyal members of the Legion of Fan! Coin Flip Cinema will be back!
The poll regarding additional content is still open, and stuck at a 4:4 tie on whether or not we should cover more than just movies.
Anything is possible, movies, music, video games, comic books, board games. We can do them in written articles, or even special edition recorded podcasts. So go a head, pass us on to your friends, and vote!

Hey all!

We haven’t forgotten about you guys at all!
Once again the daily grind has kept us locked up and away from the theaters. New episode should be coming soon though!

In other news:
Check out our friends new to the PodCast scene: Dirty Boys Radio (pops).
Les B and Seed talk about some crazy stuff. You might remember Seed as a former guest on our podcast for Inglorious Basterds, well he’s taking it to a whole new level with his own podcast now.
Check him out, who knows we might have some cross over episodes or something at some point!

Also, new poll:
Would you like to see random blog postings, relating to movie news, written reviews on TV, and Video Games and the like?
We want to expand the Coin Flip Cinema to encompass more than just movies (despite our name!) and we’re thinking about having more news posts etc.
Let us know what you’d like to hear from us, and what you’d like to see CFC become!

New Poll: Do you enjoy Indie Movies?

The title of the post pretty much says it all, but this week Dave and I are reviewing two independent films.
The Stoning of Soraya M. and Green Street Hooligans.

So the question posed is this:
Do you enjoy Indie Movies, or should things stay more mainstream than that?
What types of movies do you like?
What is your favorite indie film?
What is your least favorite indie film?

You can answer these questions more in depth in the comments section, or just answer the poll with a simple “Yes/No” option.

New Poll: Have you ever seen a good “Straight to video” release?

We all know that the movie world is plagued with terrible “straight to video” releases and sequels that never should have been.
I present the following short list of really bad ones:
Starship Troopers 2
Behind Enemy Lines 2,AND3!
Bring it on Again
Still Waiting
and of course:
Without a Paddle: Nature’s Calling.

Now that you have an example of the type of movies I’m talking about here, have you ever seen a GOOD one released? I know Disney has put out a couple of passable ones, but really, are they any good?
So vote over in the corner there, and leave a comment of either the one you’ve seen that was good, or the worst one you’ve ever seen!
It’s your time to be heard. Maybe I’ll talk to Dave and see if he’d be willing to do a special review of either one.
