The title of the post pretty much says it all, but this week Dave and I are reviewing two independent films.
The Stoning of Soraya M. and Green Street Hooligans.
So the question posed is this:
Do you enjoy Indie Movies, or should things stay more mainstream than that?
What types of movies do you like?
What is your favorite indie film?
What is your least favorite indie film?
You can answer these questions more in depth in the comments section, or just answer the poll with a simple “Yes/No” option.
We’re back again this week, reviewing “Year One”, a movie about two cavemen that are way less funny than the Geico cavemen, and “Jesus Camp”, which is about a thousand times scarier than it sounds.
We also throw in our two cents on the summer comedy “The Hangover”!
Hope you enjoy, and continue to listen us!

We all know that the movie world is plagued with terrible “straight to video” releases and sequels that never should have been.
I present the following short list of really bad ones:
Starship Troopers 2
Behind Enemy Lines 2,AND3!
Bring it on Again
Still Waiting
and of course:
Without a Paddle: Nature’s Calling.
Now that you have an example of the type of movies I’m talking about here, have you ever seen a GOOD one released? I know Disney has put out a couple of passable ones, but really, are they any good?
So vote over in the corner there, and leave a comment of either the one you’ve seen that was good, or the worst one you’ve ever seen!
It’s your time to be heard. Maybe I’ll talk to Dave and see if he’d be willing to do a special review of either one.
This week we had a little trouble finding the DvD for Hamlet 2… due to Mikey’s poor planing. Therefore a suitable last minute replacement had to be made.
Mikey chose With Out a Paddle: Nature’s Calling, for his DvD replacement, and wackiness ensues.
Thanks for tuning in, and as always we hope you keep coming back for more!

That’s right folks! It’s a new poll! On asking YOU our Legion of Fan what YOU think our next poll should be about.
You’re allowed to answer twice, so go right a head and pick the smart ass answer if you want, then pick a “real answer” or whatever. (click both answers before you hit vote!)
Or you can leave a comment, and let us know what you think the next poll should be.
After a long break, Dave and Mikey are finally back with the 11th episode of Coin Flip Cinema.
This time they review Angels and Demons and Bottle Rocket.
Sorry for the long wait, hopefully we’ll be able to make it up for you guys.
For some reason (most probably user error) I can’t get the embedded player set to work. So to listen to the podcast to play on site, just click “play in new window”
GAH! I’m a bigger dummy than I thought! I also misspelled “Angels” (Mikey talking here) so feel free to chastise me at your earliest convenience.

Hey everyone, Dave and I are still alive. We’re still doing the Podcast, it’s just life and work have gotten the better of us. So… thanks to those of you who come here and check us out hoping for a new update. There will be one soon, and possibly a couple in a row, and then hopefully we’ll get back on track and able to give you your semi-regular dose of the Coin Flip madness you’ve come to know and love.
So hang in there, and we’ll get some stuff up soon!
Peace.
