I really agreed with Suze about the “Stranger than Fiction” about how he transcended that type casting that we all excpect from him. Also, I completly agree that Tony Stark is the best hero of the decade. You don’t have to be mentally unstable to do the right thing, Batman. Don’t get me wrong, I think the Dark Knight and Batman Begins are amazing movies.

Thanks for the input Nic! I’m glad someone sees it my way with Tony Stark!

Awesome you guys! This was my first listen to the show; it was absolutely fantastic! The list makes me wanna go watch High Fidelity! Keep up the great work guys!

Good show, guys. First one I listened to all the way through. I did almost shut it off on account of the Shatner roast. I just figured I would put in my two cents on a couple of the categories.
A couple names I feel should have been mentioned for best actor would probably be Joseph Gordon Levitt(Brick, Manic, Mysterious Skin, 500 Days of Summer), and Ryan Gosling (The Believer, Fracture, Half Nelson, Notebook). Gosling wasn’t quite as prolific, but he was excellent in what he was in, and played quite different roles.
Biggest let down for me was easily spiderman 3. I wasn’t expecting excellence, by any means, but I definitely wasn’t expecting to get that close to killing myself either.
Worst trend for me would probably be the over hyping of shitty movies(Paranoid Activity would be at the top of the list). Also, the remaking of semi decent Japanese horror films into utter garbage of american films. And the announcement that Twilight Watch is going to be filmed in America made me want to die as well.
A big surprise for me was how solid of a film Rocky Balboa turned out to be. Anyways, I don’t have much time to write much else. Keep on Keepin on

Haha! Thanks Aron! I’m glad someone has my back with High Fidelity.

Dave Jenney – great feedback, and some interesting insights. Unfortunately I can’t really comment because I haven’t seen (500) Days of Summer yet (it is next on my queue) or Rocky (it looked so horrible)

I’m also very glad Spider-Man 3 didn’t compel you to commit suicide, man that movie sucked.
