Legion: Written Review

Ok loyal Legion of Fan, I know I watch a lot of dumb movies, but I had no idea what I was getting into when I decided to go see “Legion” the other day.
Brace yourselves, I’m about to show you everything you need to know about “Legion”:

There. You have now seen everything cool that “Legion” has to offer.
Seriously, there is absolutely no substance to this movie. I wasn’t expecting a deep plot or serious acting, but I certainly wasn’t expecting the stupidity of Bob (Dennis Quaid, GI Joe, Pandorum) and his half retard son named Jeep (Lucas Black, Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift) taking care of some bitch named Charlie (Adrianne Palicki) who is the most unlikeable heroine I’ve ever seen in a movie to date.
Here’s the gist, God is angry at humanity and orders Michael and Gabriel to carry out an extermination. Michael rebels and finds “the only hope” humanity has, the unborn child being carried by Charlie. Why is this child so important? Because the script says so. That’s really all there is to this movie. A series of cliched lines set around a typical apocalypse plot, and stereotyped cast. When I say everything you need to know is in the trailer, it’s completely true, and I don’t feel that I’m spoiling anything by telling you that the child is important only because the script says it is. There’s no prophecy about her child being important, it’s not the unborn Christ or even an Anti-Christ type twist. It’s just important, and poorly explained.
The only saving grace of this movie is Paul Bettany and Kevin Durand, the only two actors who seemed to take this movie anywhere close to serious. I rarely do this but in a Dave like action I’m thinking of banning any movie with Dennis Quaid in it from reviews from now on.
This movie fails on so many levels it’s not even funny. It even fails at being funny when it tries to be.
If you still want to see the movie after reading this review, then be prepared for a poorly written, poorly directed, disjointed stereotypical story with predictable ending after predictable twist. Too long, and too boring. I know it’s still pretty early in the year but I’m going to stand by and say that Legion is the dumbest movie of 2010.

FAIL!

HAHAHAHHAHAHA, I love it when stupid garbage movies are actually so bad even you hate them. Excellent review.

It looks like a bad knock off of Constantine, which wasn’t a good movie to begin with. Will not be seeing Legion.

I made the mistake of going to see this movie and have regretted it ever since. Fortunately, there was some guy snoring in the back of the theater that provided the only entertainment there was to offer. His snores pretty much sum up my sentiments of the flick.
